Nancy Spiegel (Actors Equity Association, Screen Actors Guild)
Acting Department
Nancy began making a name for herself in South Florida theater before the age of ten and continues today through her many accomplishments both on the stage and off. At eight years old, Nancy was working as a child performer both regionally and nationally in various productions such as Annie, Evita and Sound of Music to name a few. Later, Nancy went on to study Musical Theater and Communications at Minnesota State University , Moorhead . Immediately following college, Nancy embarked on her performing career that had her traveling the country starring in National Tours (West Side Story/City of Angels), Off Broadway Productions (Fame, The Musical - The Original Cast) and some of the county's top Regional Theaters (The Crown Uptown, The Royal Palm Dinner Theater, Alhambra Dinner Theater and Chanhassan Dinner Theater). Nancy is a member of Actors Equity Association and Screen Actors Guild. Throughout her performing career, Nancy discovered that not only did she love being on the stage, she loved coaching kids to be on the stage just as much. Nancy's teaching career began as a director of children's theater productions (Crown Uptown Dinner Theater, Stagedoor Manor Performing Arts Camp, Stage Left Theater Arts Program) and went on to include Master Class Instruction and Private Instruction/Coaching. Following the birth of her own daughter (now three years old) her fascination with educating children continued and led her into teaching Music Awareness to infants and toddlers in Mommy and Me classes in our area. Nancy is thrilled to be back in South Florida where it all began and most especially to be a part of Showtime Dance and Performing Arts Theatre! |
